Further to the EEC Directive 91/659/EEC of December 1991 adapting Annex I to Directive 76/769/EEC of July 1976 to technical progress, and in accordance with the Requirements contained in Ordinary Act n. 257 of March 1992 of the European Parliament - "Regulations regarding the cessation of the use, importation and exportation of asbestos and products which contain asbestos” –, the European Member States adopted and published the provisions necessary to comply with EEC Directive 91/659/EEC by 1st January 1993. Since 1st July 1993, the European Member States have applied these provisions.
The European regulations and legislation ban and forbid the use and marketing of asbestos.
Further to this and based on our suppliers' information and to our best knowledge, we declare that asbestos is not used in the processing of, or contained in, any of our products or packaging materials. Khatod Optoelectronic S.r.l.
