Khatod can create many solutions for Fresnel lenses by using up-to-date mathematical computing procedures and specific software for thermoplastic injection moulding experimentation. The result is a high performing lens complying with the most severe quality standards, while remaining an economically viable product.

The great benefit of this lens is that it’s very thin. The typical lens curvature is created only by the optic surface without any additional material used to make the lens.
Fresnel lenses can be obtained from ordinary lenses by sectioning them in circular rings, starting from their optic axis centre and considering only the rim (2 to 3 mm thickness) of every concentric section.
The final result is a lens which looks like an old LP vinyl record : a symmetry of concentric rings with different curvatures and distances from the lens centre.

PL1161 series is conceived for “multichip” LED applications. It gives a uniform light diffusion by using many light sources linked together.

PL1172 series complies with AR111 dimensional standards. It was developed to obtain a single uniform light beam by mixing 9 light sources, avoiding overlap of the 9 different light spots.
