Optoelectronic introduces the New Light Pipes and SMD LEDs Catalogue |
 |
|
KHATOD
Optoelectronic, manufacturer of Optoelectronic Components and
Solutions, announces its new two catalogues "Optical
Light Pipes & Light Guide Systems" and "SMD
LEDs", created, thanks to an agreement between KHATOD
and Agilent Technologies.
These Catalogues contain 30 new Light Pipes designed and manufactured
by Khatod over the last two years of development. The Light Pipe
Catalogues have the highest number of standard devices on the
market.
Light Pipes and Optical Cabling’s main advantage is to allow
the transport of light from LEDs mounted on circuit boards to
a front panel or where light is needed. Another advantage is that
Light Pipes transport light only, and no electricity; avoiding
typical problems with water proofing and electrical isolation.
KLB Bar Graph Arrays transport and spread light from SMD LEDs
to illuminate a uniform rectangular area.
These bars are available in various sizes including 3, 4, 10,
35 light points. |

Typical
applications are front panel indicators, legend back lights, illumination
of symbols and switches.
The new SMD LEDs Catalogue, by KHATOD & Agilent Technologies
(formerly HP), is an exclusive Light Pipes catalogue and contains
Agilent's SMD LEDs offered together with Khatod's Standard and
Custom Light Pipes. Engineers now have the capability to design
their PCBs and front panels and have the opportunity to test optical
and mechanical performances through a complete solution of LED
+ Light Pipe.
Optical Light Pipes & Light Guide Systems and SMD LEDs Catalogues
(part number K35 and K36) are now available free of charge. |
