discharges.
ESD
( Electro Static Discharge ) is a momentary unwanted current
that causes damage to electronic equipment. We know that some electronic
components like EPROM, MOS-FET, CMOS,VMOS, DIODI SCOTTKY, and so on
can be seriously damaged by intense electric discharges generated
by usual daily actions like: |

With
the environment’s humidity of about 30% or less, it is easy to
create charges in excess of 5 volts. We can understand how protection
from ESD is fundamental in the electronic industry and how the correct
management of this phenomenon can reduce problems with cards, electronic
displays, and other electronic components sensitive to ESD. ESD events may occur with or without a spark. All ESD events can cause devise failures or less obvious degradation of product due to the electrostatic event. Obviously, this can cause economic hardship as well as poor product performance. When associated costs of repair and reworking; shipping, labor and overhead are considered, the impact of ESD is tremendous. Some products subject to ESD do not immediately malfunction, but the average life of the product is shortened. |

Series KDE ( DIN 41494 ) combines simplicity and ductility of traditional components and is available in all colours, at 5V and 12V, with inverted polarity, low current, and protection from ESD discharges with a delivery time of only 15 days.
Series KTAB and KTAB2 offer the
possibility to specify and construct cards without the need of putting
the LED at the card’s border. |
